Food is a primary need for humans which is distributed on a macro basis in tradisional and modern markets. A micro basis carried out by business actors who sell food plants by walking around in residential areas. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of food crops sold by itinerant vegetable vendors in Kalideres District, West Jakarta. This study was used survey method. Five itinerant vegetable vendors were observed at each sub-district. Vegetables and fruits diversity were noted in a notebook and take some pictures with my handphone camera. The next stage was identified the vegetables and fruit species at itinerant vegetable vendors and their utilization with a few references. The results of this study obtained 9 species including spices, 34 species of vegetables, and 11 species of fruits. Species of vegetables are included in fungi are Auricularia auricula (ear fungus) and Pleurotus ostreatus (oyster mushroom) while leaf and seed vegetables Gnetum gnemon (melinjo) are included in Gymnosperms and 30 species are classified as Angiosperms. The fruits variety sold by itinerant vegetable vendors were categorized into seasonal fruits (Manilkara kauki) or sapodilla and Dimocarpus longan (longan) while 8 species were seasonal fruits.
